چکیده

A reconfigurable structure of antenna improves electromagnetic (EM) performance and its capability compared with other designs. The design satisfies both EM mechanical needs simultaneously. This paper studies the stability analysis a foldable helical Kresling origami pattern, which is subjected to tip follower force. simulated using geometrically-exact, fully intrinsic nonlinear composite beam theory Hodges. cross-sectional properties antenna’s are obtained Variational Asymptotic Beam Sectional (VABS) analysis. While results in agreement commercial finite element tools, numerical platform developed this offers significant computational advantages. In case study, based on Hopf-bifurcation method presented for made from Kapton fabric. behavior eigenvalues mode shapes also studied. Furthermore, we investigated effects several geometrical parameters antenna, such as number polygon sides, height, length ratio. indicate changes significantly by increasing ratio sides.

Size-dependent Bending of Geometrically Nonlinear of Micro-Laminated Composite Beam based on Modified Couple Stress Theory

In this study, the effect of finite strain on bending of the geometrically nonlinear of micro laminated composite Euler-Bernoulli beam based on Modified Couple Stress Theory (MCST) is studied in thermal environment. The Green-Lagrange strain tensor according to finite strain assumption and the principle of minimum potential energy is applied to obtain governing equation of motion and boundary c...

On the Geometrically Nonlinear Analysis of Composite Axisymmetric Shells

Composite axisymmetric shells have numerous applications; many researchers have taken advantage of the general shell element or the semi-analytical formulation to analyze these structures. The present study is devoted to the nonlinear analysis of composite axisymmetric shells by using a 1D three nodded axisymmetric shell element. Both low and higher-order shear deformations are included in the ...

Geometrically Nonlinear Theory of Composite Beams with Deformable Cross Sections

Aone-dimensional theory of slender structures with heterogeneous anisotropic material distribution is presented. It expands Cosserat’s description of beam kinematics by allowing deformation of the beam cross sections. For that purpose, a Ritz approximation is introduced on the cross-sectional displacement field, which defines additional elastic degrees of freedom (finite-sectionmodes) in the on...
